Richard is a best-selling author and business professional. He has held leadership positions in the healthcare, manufacturing, and mining industries. Richard earned an engineering degree at Missouri S&T University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Regent University.

Richard was a member of the first mine rescue team at The Doe Run Company. He was trained as an Emergency Medical Technician and a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Richard served as Director of the Behavioral Health Center at Ozarks Healthcare for ten years. He is the national recipient of the 2019 Summit Award for Super Coach at the Healthcare Service Excellence Conference. Ozarks Medical Center Behavioral Healthcare received the Summit Award for Medical Clinic of Choice in 2021.

Glenstrae LLC was founded in 2023. The company produces print and digital media. The company was named Glenstrae (pronounced “glen stray”) in honor of the home of Richard’s ancestors in the Scottish Highlands.
